Upholding the tradition, on December 10th the Consulate General of Poland in Guangzhou organized a meeting for Poles and their families living in Southern China. On the warm December Saturday evening over 130 people gathered in MXQ ART SPACE Gallery situated in the artistic district of Dongshankou. They received carol songbooks and Christmas cards designed by the Consulate.

The special guest, Ms. Dagmara Gregorowicz, DagaDana group cofounder and vocalist, lead the carolling. A Polish delegation, which consisted of senators, MPs and governors visiting China,  joined the local community in celebration. It was an unique opportunity to learn about Polish people living in the area and their way of life far away from homeland.

The festive atmosphere was complemented by decorations, Polish winter landscape pictures, Cantonese and Polish Christmas menu as well as open-air barbecue. The Polish community meeting was also a great opportunity to talk, make new friends, listen to Polish music and spend some nice moments before Christmas time.

Thank you very much for coming. We are delighted to see that there are more and more Poles in the area.

We would like to wish all Poles in Guangdong, Guangxi Zhuang and Hainan Provinces Joyful and Happy New Year!
